On June 13, 2025, a group of 10 students from local middle and secondary schools embarked on a unique learning journey, participating in a 'Job Tour' organized by the education coordinator of the Landshut district. This exciting event provided the students with hands-on experiences in various industries, offering them indeed insights into professional life.

The Job Tour schedule included visits to several companies in Ergolding and Essenbach. The students began their day at Aristotherm, where they gained insights into heating construction and sanitation by crafting a pen holder from sheet metal. They then moved on to Schott AG, where they delved into the world of glass, melting and processing it to create their own digital dice and gild a metal ring.

The students also had the opportunity to visit ITIS AG, where they were introduced to the field of IT. At the Altheim branch, they ventured into server rooms and performed tasks on computers and servers. Another stop was SPIE SE in Ergolding, where they processed steel and created a locomotive-shaped paperweight.

The Job Tour didn't just limit itself to the technical industries. The students also visited Lüftungs- und Klimatechnik Feistl and Ergomar, gaining valuable insights into the realm of air conditioning and mechanical engineering.

A highlight of the Job Tour was the visit to a construction site in Ergolding, where the students observed the daily work and gained a practical understanding of the construction industry.
