Rosseti Kuban Concludes Inaugural Season of School Physics Outreach Project "Energokruzhki"

Rosseti, Russia's leading electric grid company, has concluded the first season of its physics outreach project, "Energokruzhki," aimed at 9th graders. The project's final event took place at Gymnasium No. 6 in Sochi, where the program has been in operation since October 2024.

During the academic year, high school students engaged in various activities, including working at the All-Russian School Olympiad organized by Rosseti, visiting production sites, and participating in thematic quizzes. The project emphasized preparing students for the OGE in physics, with successful participants receiving certificates acknowledging their completion of the advanced physics curriculum.

The "Energokruzhki" program was developed in partnership with experts from Russia's prestigious Moscow Energy Institute, focusing on the educational needs of school-aged children. In the 2024/2025 academic year, the project expanded to numerous regions across the country, with additional physics classes organized in 61 regions attended by over 1,500 high school students.

The project aimed to cultivate students' interest in advanced physics studies and steer them towards higher and secondary technical education for future employment in Rosseti companies. The program offers practical, hands-on learning experiences, work with professionals in the field, and opportunities to compete in science fairs and contests.

Through this initiative, Rosseti seeks to foster a new generation of scientists and engineers essential for the future energy sector, making physics more accessible and engaging for high school students. By connecting theoretical physics with practical applications in energy, "Energokruzhki" aims to spur students' curiosity, improve academic performance, and inspire future careers in physics and related fields.

  1. The "Energokruzhki" program, a partnership between Rosseti and the Moscow Energy Institute, focuses on promoting personal growth and education-and-self-development, such as advanced physics studies, for high school students across Russia.
  2. By providing hands-on learning experiences, work with professionals, and opportunities to compete in science fairs, "Energokruzhki" encourages learning and contributes to the students' pursuit of personal-growth and higher education, ultimately preparing them for careers in the energy sector and other related fields.
