Two sports fields were inaugurated in schools within the Moscow district under the initiative, "You Make the Choice!"
The "It's Up to You!" project, an initiative by the governor of Nizhny Novgorod, continues to make strides in the city. Two new multifunctional sports facilities have recently opened in the Moscow District, specifically in schools No.172 and No.64.
These sports facilities were created under the governor's initiative budgeting project and were opened on July 25, 2025, at 16:10. The district completed the project for the sports facilities in 2025.
The sports facilities are not located in standalone structures but within the school premises. The children's playgrounds, meanwhile, have been built in the courtyards of houses No.10 on Kominterna Street and No.19 on Chernyahovskogo Street.
The opening of these sports facilities was reported by the city administration's information policy department. Six objects for the sports facilities were chosen by residents in a vote.
It's worth noting that the "It's Up to You!" project seems to be part of the World Youth Festival (WYF) Assembly 2025 held in Nizhny Novgorod from September 17 to 21, 2025. This event includes a regional hospitality program across 11 Russian regions following the main festival dates.
For those interested in participating in the "It's Up to You!" project or the associated WYF Assembly in 2025, it is recommended to keep an eye on official WYF and Nizhny Novgorod channels for application windows and eligibility requirements. These applications often require candidates to meet certain youth engagement or regional eligibility criteria.
Applications for the "It's Up to You!" project can be submitted until September 15, 2025, and the website for submitting applications is vam.golosza.ru.
The first deputy head of the district, Oleg Sokuров, and Nizhny Novgorod City Duma deputy Yuri Eрофеев have inspected the work quality of the sports facilities. The 2026 budget for the "It's Up to You!" project is 1.2 billion rubles.
Previously, under the "It's Up to You!" project, two sports facilities and two children's playgrounds were opened. This project, with its focus on youth participation, cultural exchange, and hospitality programs, is set to continue making a positive impact in Nizhny Novgorod.
Education and self-development opportunities have been added to the multifunctional sports facilities installed in schools No.172 and No.64, as part of the "It's Up to You!" project. These sports facilities, opened on July 25, 2025, are not only intended for physical activities but also offer opportunities for personal growth and development.
