Sverdlovsk Region Boosts Professional Education with Honors, Festivals, and New Initiatives
The Sverdlovsk region is boosting its professional education sector with a series of initiatives. Nikolay Burganov and Olga Shokova, directors of Ural Radio Technical College and Ural Railway Technical School respectively, have been honoured as 'Honored Workers of the Education Sector of the Russian Federation'.
The region is set to organise festivals, olympiads, and competitions among community members to foster growth and development. An expert council, comprising 11 directors of technical schools and colleges, has been elected to oversee the regional professional education system.
The 'UralProfTech66' community project was launched at a festival in Yekaterinburg, supported by the city administration's health minister and deputy governor Tatyana Savinova. The project aims to promote and develop colleges and their partnerships in the Ural region. An ambassador program among active students and teachers is planned to be launched.
Specialists from the regional Ministry of Education proposed creating a unified blog in social networks to share news about events in the region's colleges. A logo for the new brand, featuring the traditional colours of the Sverdlovsk region flag, has been developed.
Five more college directors have received honorary certificates from the Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation, recognising their contributions to the sector. These initiatives reflect the region's commitment to enhancing its professional education system and fostering a sense of community among its institutions.
