Penn State Music School Shines at PBR Showcase
On the chilly evening of 16 January 2025, the Penn State campus in London played host to the PBR Showcase, an exclusive event that brought together students, lecturers, mentors, and the PBR team for a night of music, collaboration, and industry insights.
The school, recognised for its Gold TEF rating and standing among esteemed institutions like Oxford, Cambridge, Exeter, and Imperial, provided an ideal setting for the event. The evening began with a networking session, offering students the opportunity to connect and engage with professionals in the music industry.
The PBR team introduced themselves during a panel session, sharing advice on navigating the industry and offering insights into their work. The event was structured to maximise engagement and connection, making it more than just a night of great music.
The PBR Showcase showcased the diverse talent within the school's community. Performances included Sam The Zoologist and Leah Haworth, winners of the school's competitions, and other talented students. The event was a hub of connection and collaboration, with students given the chance to sing on the hub stage and connect with other artists and producers for potential collaborations.
