Saxony-Anhalt Launches New Project to Boost Creative Economy Startups
Saxony-Anhalt's Ministry for Economy, Tourism, Agriculture, and Forestry has launched a new project, 'Startup Support in the Creative Economy', led by State Secretary Stefanie Poetzsch. The project's timeline remains uncertain, but it aims to boost the region's startup scene and foster innovation across industries.
Poetzsch underscored the creative economy's role as a catalyst for innovation in other sectors. The project, backed by nearly 800,000 euros from the ego.CONCEPT program, seeks to improve framework conditions for creative founders and support aspiring entrepreneurs on their path to self-employment.
The Saxony-Anhalt Creative Economy Association (KWSA) marked its 15th anniversary, celebrating a decade and a half of promoting the creative economy in the region. Since 2010, KWSA has cultivated a robust community, fostering close networking with other industries. The association's unique BESTFORM AWARD showcases the wealth of ideas and talent within the state.
During a recent event, State Secretary Stefanie Poetzsch announced the funding decision for the 'Startup Support in the Creative Economy' project. With this initiative, Saxony-Anhalt seeks to strengthen its startup ecosystem, encouraging innovation and entrepreneurship in the creative sector.
