Special Military Operation Veterans Integrated into Regional Administration through "SVO Heroes49" Program

Magadan, February 21 - A new regional staffing program, titled "SVO Heroes49," was launched on Monday. The program is currently in the interview phase and is scheduled to conclude on May 31.

Participants of this initiative will undergo a four-module training program, which encompasses state policy and governance system, economics and finance, regional and municipal management, and modern management technologies.

Vera Maimistova, chairperson of the regional branch of the All-Russian Public Organization of War and Labor Veterans, praised the program. "This program is excellent. It offers a valuable opportunity for veterans of the special military operation to integrate into society and play an active role," Maimistova said.

According to Maimistova, the program will enable veterans to secure new jobs in regional government agencies. She expressed her belief that the veterans, due to their unique experiences, can bring significant benefits to the city and region.

While specific details about the "SVO Heroes49" program are scarce, it seems to be part of broader efforts by the Russian government to engage veterans more actively. The "Time of Heroes" program is an example, which involves appointing veterans to regional government positions and integrating them into society [2]. Additionally, efforts to recruit volunteers for technological roles within the military, such as the BARS-Sarmat Unmanned Systems Special Purpose Center, suggest a focus on utilizing veterans' expertise [1].

The "Magadan News" Telegram channel will continue to provide updates on the "SVO Heroes49" program and its impact on the Magadan region.

The "SVO Heroes49" program, aimed at integrating special military operation veterans into regional administration, offers an opportunity for personal growth and education-and-self-development through a comprehensive four-module training regime. This initiative is expected to contribute to the veterans' personal growth, equipping them with vital skills for regional and municipal management, economics and finance, modern management technologies, and understanding of state policy and governance system.
