Project for novice students on our platform, focusing on imparting nutritional knowledge and practical cooking skills
The Nutrition Center Middle Neckar, an independent information center under the Ministry of Food, Rural Areas, and Consumer Protection (MLR) and the Ludwigsburg district, has announced a unique opportunity for schools in the region. The project, titled "Heute für Morgen – Ernährungskompetenz und Küchenpraxis," aims to educate students in grades 7 to 9 about health-promoting and sustainable nutrition.
Schools within the Landkreis Ludwigsburg are eligible to apply for this project, which will take place over multiple project days in the school year 2025/2026. Schools with students who may face difficulties reaching the Nutrition Center Middle Neckar by public transportation will be prioritized.
The project will be implemented at schools, not at the Nutrition Center, and on-site implementation will be handled by a catering manager. Schools, classes, and teachers interested in participating can apply at ernaehrung@unsere-website. The application should include the number of students, type of school, grade level, school address, and the equipment of the school’s kitchen.
The Nutrition Center Middle Neckar prides itself on its high level of expertise and the close integration of theory and practice. Its focus is on health-promoting, sustainable nutrition, the processing of seasonal and (bio)regional food, and the reduction of food waste.
A fee of 7 euros per student is required for the food processed in the practical part of the project. The project offers a variety of services related to health-promoting, sustainable nutrition, operating at the interface between producers and consumers.
