Police HQ Recklinghausen Launches 'AnsprechBAR' Dialogue Series for Students

Police Headquarters Recklinghausen is introducing an innovative dialogue series, 'AnsprechBAR', tailored for students. The series aims to engage young people in a modern, interactive format, moving away from traditional lectures. The kick-off event takes place on September 18, 2025, at the Paul-Spiegel-Berufskolleg in Dorsten.

The AnsprechBAR will travel to various schools in the Recklinghausen district and Bottrop city, starting in Dorsten and continuing until early October. The series seeks to enlighten students about digital crime, prevent violence and radicalization, and promote media competence. Topics for discussion include online dangers, knife violence, radicalization, and civil courage. To create a relaxed atmosphere, the police will use an Airstream trailer and interactive formats. Journalists are welcome to attend and are asked to register with the police press office.

The 'AnsprechBAR' dialogue series is a novel approach by Police Headquarters Recklinghausen to engage young people in crucial discussions about online safety, violence prevention, and media literacy. The series will visit multiple schools in the region, fostering trust and understanding among the people.
