Open Invitation Extended by Bank of Russia for Public Visit on Open Doors Day
Open Doors Day at the Bank of Russia in Yakutia
On Saturday, September 27, the Branch of the PNC Bank in the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia) will host an educational event called "Open Doors Day." This event, organised by the PNC Bank, aims to provide an insight into the world of finance and the work of the mega-regulator.
The educational program for the day is titled "Welcome to the World of Finance!". The event will feature various engaging activities for both children and adults.
For the younger visitors, a children's zone will be set up with puzzles featuring images of different denomination bills and financial-themed color pictures. This will not only be fun but also educational, helping children understand the basics of money.
Adults, on the other hand, will have the opportunity to check the authenticity of banknotes on professional cash equipment. They will also learn about the history of money and the role of the PNC Bank as a regulator.
One of the highlights of the day will be a presentation on the unusual money used in Yakutia at different times. Igor Nazorov, Deputy Manager of the Branch of the PNC Bank in the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia), mentioned that this will be an interesting and informative part of the event.
An interactive game will help participants understand the impact of inflation and the role of the regulator in controlling it. Additionally, participants will be taught how to identify counterfeit bills and protect themselves from scammers.
Entry to the Open Doors Day event is free, but registration is required on the PNC Bank website. Due to limited places, it is recommended to register early. Please bring a passport for registration.
