At our newly-opened BBMA (Bright Beginnings Montessori Academy) in the heart of Mt. Pleasant, South Carolina, we're overjoyed to embark on this exciting learning adventure with the community! Our latest BBMA facility is no ordinary daycare - it's a space designed to foster fun, learning, and growth for our young learners. On gloomy days, the classrooms double as play spaces. On sunny days, a large playground stands ready, filled with age-appropriate equipment for our little explorers. As advocates of play, we make sure our students have plenty of time to run, jump, and develop their strength and stamina!
Our innovative curriculum, the Passport to Learning, is a globally-inspired program developed from the latest early childhood education research and best practices. This play-based program transports our students across the globe, exploring different countries and cultures. It helps our young learners reach crucial cognitive, physical, and social milestones, while nurturing their desire to learn. To add a touch of compassion to their education, our Heart Project service learning initiatives help our students cultivate kindness, compassion, and empathy from an early age.
Recognizing the challenges of being away from your kids, we strive to make BBMA feel like an extended family. With convenient hours from 6:30 a.m. to 6 p.m., we're here for you, Monday through Friday, for students aged six weeks to five years old. To keep you in the loop about your child's day, our parent communication app offers peace of mind and regular updates! In addition to our infant, toddler, and preschool programs, we also offer summer camp and after-school care for school-aged students, up to age 12.
