Michelle Obama, born in Chicago, Illinois, has made significant strides in various roles. She met her husband, Barack Obama, while working at a law firm. As First Lady, she launched two notable initiatives: Let's Move! and Joining Forces.

Michelle Obama's journey began at Whitney Young High School, where she graduated as salutatorian. She then pursued higher education, earning a Bachelor's degree in Sociology from Princeton University and a law degree from Harvard Law School. Early in her career, she served as Associate Dean of Students and Director of the University Community Student Center at the University of Chicago.

As First Lady, Obama launched the Let's Move! initiative in 2010 to combat childhood obesity. This campaign achieved significant milestones, including the passage of the Healthy, Hunger-Free Kids Act. In 2011, she joined forces with Dr. Jill Biden to launch the Joining Forces initiative. This program aimed to support military families, veterans, and service members by facilitating the hiring or training of over 1.2 million veterans and military spouses. The initiative collaborated with various organizations, employers, and community leaders to improve employment, education, and wellness for military families.
