Lahnstein City Library has introduced a new initiative called the Library of Things, which aims to provide socially disadvantaged families with access to diverse modern educational media. This innovative project is part of the New Multimedial Media project and is specifically targeted at children, young people, and families.

Mayor Lennart Siefert is enthusiastic about the Library of Things, stating that it takes the library in a modern and family-friendly direction. The Library of Things is open for visits at Lahnstein City Library, located at Kaiserplatz 1.

The Library of Things includes a variety of interactive and educational items such as interactive pens, talking figures, wireless children's headphones with audio chips, digital learning boxes, creative story theaters, multimedia globes, and various devices for playful language promotion. This collection is designed to offer resources that promote learning through play, creativity, and hands-on activities.

The Library of Things allows users to try out new learning and play materials before making a purchase decision, contributing to sustainability by allowing users to test devices and media before buying. It also helps avoid impulse purchases, promoting a more mindful approach to consumerism.

The Library of Things is open on Mondays and Fridays from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM, and on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM and 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM. Interested parties can register personally at Lahnstein City Library to become members. For more information, visit www.lahnstein.de/stadtbuecherei.

By using the Library of Things, families can discover its possibilities and form their own impressions. The Library of Things at Lahnstein City Library continues to expand its collection, ensuring a diverse and engaging selection of items for all ages.

Users can explore a variety of educational items at Lahnstein City Library's Library of Things, such as digital learning boxes, creative story theaters, and multimedia globes, catering to both learning and lifestyle needs in the realms of home-and-garden, education-and-self-development, and even lifestyle.
