Learn Holocaust Research Tools at Oct 15 Workshop in Innsbruck
A workshop titled 'Tools and Methods' is set to take place on October 15, 2025, at the University of Innsbruck. Led by Benjamin Grilj from the Institute for Jewish History Austria, the main event is part of the EHRI-AT initiatives by the Institute for Contemporary History.
The workshop, running from 10:15 AM to 11:45 AM, aims to equip attendees with essential tools and methods for Holocaust research. It is hosted at the Geiwi Tower, 1st Floor, Room 52U105. EHRI-AT, the driving force behind this event, seeks to make source materials on Nazi crimes in Austria accessible and searchable through a digital platform. This initiative fosters cross-border cooperation and supports research into diverse victim groups of the Holocaust.
Eva Pfanzelter, an editor of academic publications at the University of Innsbruck, is the concept and organization lead for the workshop alongside Benjamin Grilj. She can be reached at +43 512 507-44008 or via email at [email protected]. The Institute for Contemporary History, a member of the Austrian EHRI-AT consortium, is hosting the event.
The 'Tools and Methods' workshop, led by Benjamin Grilj and Eva Pfanzelter, offers a unique opportunity to learn and engage with Holocaust research. The event is part of EHRI-AT's mission to connect archives, museums, and research facilities, promoting Holocaust education and documentation.
