Law Council Counseling Registration for TS LAWCET 2025 Starts Today, Find Info Here
The Telangana State Law Common Entrance Test (TS LAWCET) 2025 counselling process has commenced, and candidates who have qualified for the exam are now eligible to participate. Here's a detailed breakdown of the eligibility criteria and the process for both the Three-Year and Five-Year LLB programmes.
Five-Year LLB Course
Candidates aspiring to join the Five-Year LLB programme must have passed or be appearing in the final year of the 12th class (or equivalent) examination from a recognized board. The minimum aggregate marks required are 45% for General category, 42% for OBC category, and 40% for SC/ST categories. There is no age limit for this course.
Three-Year LLB Course
For the Three-Year LLB programme, candidates must have passed or be appearing in the final year of an undergraduate graduation degree (or equivalent) from a recognized university or college. The minimum aggregate marks required are the same as for the Five-Year programme: 45% for General category, 42% for OBC category, and 40% for SC/ST categories. Again, there is no age limit for this course.
Eligibility Criteria for Both Programmes
Candidates with lower graduation marks may still be eligible for the Three-Year LLB Programme if they have a higher aggregate in post-graduation or BEd.
It is important to note that candidates who have obtained their degree through a single sitting or open university without passing SSC are not eligible for either the Three-Year or Five-Year LLB Programmes. Candidates who have completed Class 12 or graduation/post-graduation from open universities without SSC are also ineligible for the Five-Year LLB Programme.
Counselling Process
The counselling process begins with registration and payment of the processing fee, which is INR 800 for general candidates but reduced to INR 500 for SC/ST candidates. After seat allotment, candidates make an online fee payment and download an acknowledgement card.
Candidates then upload their original certificates for online verification. Once verified, candidates will exercise their web options. After online verification, seat allotment follows, and candidates receive an allotment order.
Finally, candidates report to the allotted college with the original certificates and acknowledgement card for verification. Once verified, the college confirms the documents, and the candidates can complete the process.
Qualified candidates can register for admission into the three-year and five-year LLB programmes. The non-refundable processing fee for TS LAWCET 2025 counselling is INR 800, but it is reduced to INR 500 for SC/ST candidates.
