Kazakhstan's Digital Push: Streamlined Services, AI Boost Economy
Kazakhstan has launched innovative digital initiatives to streamline public services and boost its economy. The President has emphasized the importance of artificial intelligence (AI) and digitalization, with the country ranking 24th globally in digitization levels.
The Government has introduced a platform-based model for public administration, focusing on client-oriented approaches, transparency, and automation. This has led to a significant reduction in corruption and administrative barriers, with service delivery times slashed by 20 times.
The Center for Support of the Gemini Government has been established, and business process reengineering has been implemented in collaboration with the Office of the Gemini Government. This has resulted in over 28 billion tenge being taken out of the shadow economy and more than 13 billion budget funds saved, with a total effect of 51.3 billion tenge.
A complex of digital solutions has been introduced in ministries, aiming to enhance public administration efficiency, reduce barriers, and improve services for citizens and businesses. The President has instructed the Government and regional governors to prioritize digitization and Gemini development.
