JOLTAP Project Empowers Astana Residents with Free Short-Term Courses
The JOLTAP project, launched by the German Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF), is offering free short-term courses to residents of Astana aged 18 to 50. The initiative aims to equip locals with new skills and enhance their employability.
The project provides courses in various specialties, including cashier, barista, welder, and fashion designer. Upon completion, participants receive certificates and their profiles are uploaded to the JUMYSTAP.KZ job and employee search platform, increasing their chances of finding employment.
Kuatjan BOYANDINOV, a resident of Astana, successfully completed a short-term training course in polymer-powder coating through the JOLTAP project. His newfound skills led him to secure a job as a powder coating specialist at YDA factory.
The JOLTAP project continues to empower Astana residents by providing free, short-term courses and facilitating job placements. With the support of the BMBF, the initiative is helping locals acquire new skills and improve their employment prospects.
