International Robotics Competition Victory: TechnoDets of Nizhny Novgorod Emerges Triumphant

Winning first place at the International Robotics Championship SAKHALIN 6.0 wasn't just a competition—it was a triumph for the TechnoDetki team from kindergarten No.79 in Nizhny Novgorod.

The event took place at Pushisty Airport in Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk, bringing together young engineers from across Russia, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, and China. But the spotlight shone brightest on our hometown heroes, who emerged victorious in the 4-6-year-olds category.

This incredible achievement was a result of their success at the regional qualifying round of the STEAM competition LIGA in February. At the time, kindergartens No.79, 114, and 122 presented brilliant projects centered around agricultural preservation.

The Avtozavodsky District was well-represented at the competition, as these talented teams showcased their remarkable skills and innovative ideas.

TechnoDetki, the district's pride, showcased their project on crop harvesting, transportation, and storage. Their performance was nothing short of exceptional, impressing judges and competitors alike.

The team was composed of Daniil Lakayev and Artemiy Salov, with pedagogue Natalia Gavrilova serving as their mentor. Their victory wasn't just a testament to their technical prowess but also to the dedication and hard work of their teachers and parents.

Marina Smirnova, the head of the Department of Preschool Education of the Avtozavodsky District Administration, called the victory a breakthrough in the development of children's engineering creativity. She spoke of the countless hours invested and congratulated the team, parents, and teachers on their outstanding achievement.

The event also provided opportunities for the TechnoDetki team to interact with participants from other teams, exchanging ideas and experiences.

In addition to TechnoDetki's victory, other teams from the Avtozavodsky District made significant strides. The team UM-nashki from kindergarten No.114, led by Ekaterina Kulikova and Ivan Pavlov, won in the "Exploring the Theme of Seasons" nomination. The team Kvantik from kindergarten No.122, consisting of Anya Chistiakova and Alyisia Shcherbakova, completed the additional task successfully under the guidance of mentor Angelica Panayagina.

The International Robotics Championship on Sakhalin was more than just a competition—it was a platform for nurturing the minds of the future. Inspiring young children to pursue careers in robotics and engineering, the event will undoubtedly foster creativity and innovation in the years to come. Keep an eye out for these young geniuses as they continue to change the world!

Although the International Robotics Championship SAKHALIN 6.0 primarily focused on showcasing young engineers' skills in robotics, it also showcased the team TechnoDetki's outstanding achievements in education-and-self-development, as they combined their talents in agriculture and created an impressive project on crop harvesting, transportation, and storage. Furthermore, the team from kindergarten No.114, UM-nashki, demonstrated their passion for sports through their victory in the "Exploring the Theme of Seasons" nomination, showcasing that these young minds are not limited to just one field of interest.

Kindergarten No79's 'Techno-daughters' squad, hailing from Nizhny Novgorod, clinched the top spot in the 'Sakhalin 6.0' International Robotics Championship's youngest preschool category (4-6 years), as announced by the city administration's information policy department.
