Info Handbook and Online Admission Portal for CDLU

The Chaudhary Devi Lal University (CDLU) unveiled its handbook of information and an online admission portal for the academic session 2025-26. Led by Vice Chancellor Prof Vijay Kumar, the event witnessed a presentation by Dr Saroj Mehta, System Manager, University IT, Data and Computer Centre (UITDCC), and Junior Programmer Gulshan, who provided a detailed overview of the online admission process [2].

Prof Kumar urged officials to ensure the admission process remained straightforward and offered ample assistance at both the department and UITDCC levels for applicants. All departments will receive user IDs, and after document verification, merit lists will be issued. Undergraduate (UG) and postgraduate (PG) aspirants can now apply online via CDLU's website, https://www.cdlu.ac.in [2]. For students applying to multiple programs, separate applications and respective fees will be required [2].

Sustainable Practices and Empowerment at NIFTEM-K

World Environment Day 2025 saw the National Institute of Food Technology Entrepreneurship and Management (NIFTEM-K) organizing a series of events focused on "Beat Plastic Pollution." The day commenced with a plantation drive at the institute, led by esteemed members of the Undergraduate Board of Studies (UG BoS), stressed the importance of sustainable environmental practices [3].
