iGravity, Unity Trust & Big Issue Invest Appoint New Heads
iGravity has appointed Susan Tirop as co-head of investments, while Unity Trust Bank has named Martin Barrett as chief operating officer (COO). Meanwhile, Big Issue Invest has appointed Holger Westphely as managing director. Additionally, ILX Management has welcomed Paul de Klerk to its supervisory board.
Susan Tirop brings over 15 years of experience in impact investing and advisory across sub-Saharan Africa to iGravity. Prior to this, she served as an Investment Manager at CDC Group. Tirop will work alongside Martin Barrett, who joins iGravity from Unity Trust Bank, where he was COO. Barrett formerly held senior roles at Lloyds Banking Group for 24 years.
Christian Topp has joined KGAL as senior director of institutional business. With over 25 years' experience in energy transition and infrastructure investments, Topp will focus on expanding KGAL's institutional client base. Meanwhile, Paul de Klerk has been appointed to the supervisory board of ILX Management. de Klerk previously served as chief operating officer, chief financial officer, and chairman of the managing board at AlpInvest Partners.
These appointments bring a wealth of experience and expertise to their respective organisations. Tirop's background in impact investing will be valuable to iGravity, while Barrett's extensive banking experience will benefit Unity Trust Bank. Topp's energy transition and infrastructure investment experience will be an asset to KGAL, and de Klerk's diverse financial background will strengthen ILX Management's supervisory board.
