Graduates Celebrate Achievements in Creative Fields
A cohort of students, including Desiree Prime, Jared Witkofsky, Sage Nuessle, and many others, recently graduated from career certificate programmes in Graphic Design, Digital Arts, Marketing Design, and Multimedia Arts. The graduation ceremony, held this week, celebrated their achievements and marked the end of their programs.
The graduates are now venturing forth into their creative careers. Desiree Prime graduated with a Digital Arts Professional Certificate, while Jared Witkofsky, Joshua Mitchell, and Kelvyn Perez each received Multimedia Arts Professional Certificates. Sage Nuessle, Ashley Royster, and Cassandra Robinson each earned Graphic Design Professional Certificates, and Katerina Tsantili and Elizabeth Mrozinski graduated with Graphic Design Advanced Certificates. Lorraine Santa Lucia received a Marketing Design Professional Certificate.
Anatole France's quote, "To accomplish great things, we must not only act, but also dream, not only plan, but also believe," was shared during the ceremony, inspiring the graduates to dream big and believe in their abilities as they embark on their creative journeys.
The career certificate programmes, offered by various institutions, typically include courses and certifications that develop skills in design principles, digital tools, typography, image preparation, and multimedia production. For instance, Noble Desktop offers a Digital Design Certificate covering technical expertise for modern digital and print design, including graphic and web interfaces, with 138 hours of interactive training and access to Adobe Creative Cloud.
Shippensburg University offers an 18-credit Graphic Design Certificate programme, teaching layout, typography, image preparation, design aesthetics, print production, and portfolio creation. Parsons School of Design provides a Graphic and Digital Design certificate, including foundational courses such as color theory, digital graphics, digital imaging, typography, and graphic design history. RISD Continuing Education offers certificate programmes focusing on design principles, visual thinking, typography, digital technology, animation, and multimedia arts through studio-based learning.
As the graduates embark on their creative careers, they will carry with them the skills and knowledge they've gained from these programmes, ready to make a mark in the creative industries. Melissa Harmon, Rebecca Wilcox Gwynne, and Vanessa Philpott are among those ready to make their mark, each having graduated with Digital Arts Professional Certificates.
The graduation ceremony honoured these students for their hard work and dedication, and they leave with the belief that they can accomplish great things in their creative fields. As they set forth on their new journeys, they carry with them the dreams, plans, and belief that Anatole France spoke of, ready to make their mark in the world of design.
The students, such as Desiree Prime, Sage Nuessle, and Melissa Harmon, have achieved milestones in their Graphic Design, Digital Arts, and Multimedia Arts careers, thanks to their education and self-development gained from these certificate programs. As they move forward in their career-development, they carry the belief that their skills and knowledge will help them make significant contributions to the creative industries, just as Anatole France's words inspire them to dream big and believe in their abilities.
