Global Women's Summit in Berlin Unites 1000 Female Leaders
The Global Women's Summit recently concluded in Berlin, drawing around 1000 participants from over 60 countries. The event, held from July 3rd to 5th, focused on sustainable leadership, digital transformation, and women's ESG initiatives. Notable companies like Siemens, Deutsche Telekom, and Mercedes-Benz, along with UN Women Germany, were represented.
Assel Machmudova, a board member of the Association of Businesswomen of Kazakhstan, spoke at the summit. She discussed projects in AI, medicine, and green technologies, as well as venture capital funds investing in women's teams. The Association has been participating in the summit regularly for 23 years, reflecting Kazakhstan's commitment to women's entrepreneurial skills and leadership qualities.
The summit provided a platform for female entrepreneurs from around the world to network and exchange ideas. Machmudova exchanged business cards with representatives of FidAR e.V. and Astrid Maier from Deutsche Presse-Agentur GmbH. She also plans to join the 'Qazaq Independent Directors' association in Kazakhstan as a member. The summit's themes, including leadership, gender equality, and transforming corporate culture, are particularly relevant for the development of women entrepreneurs in Kazakhstan.
