FBI appoints Missouri's attorney general as joint deputy director
FBI Appoints Andrew Bailey as Co-Deputy Director
The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) has made a significant move in its efforts to ensure the safety of America, announcing the appointment of Andrew Bailey as co-depty director. This marks the first time in the agency's history that it has two deputy directors.
Todd Blanche, the deputy attorney general, made the announcement of Bailey's appointment. Prior to this, Bailey served as the attorney general of Missouri, where he was known for his staunch efforts against "the swamp", fighting weaponized government, and defending the Constitution.
Bailey has accepted the role and expressed his gratitude to President Trump and Attorney General Pam Bondi for the opportunity to serve. In a post on social media, he expressed his eagerness to be a part of the FBI's important mission to make America safe.
Andrew Bailey will work alongside FBI Director Kash Patel, who has expressed pride in Bailey's appointment and looks forward to working together to protect America and uphold the Constitution.
Meanwhile, the FBI, under the Department of Justice, will bring the greatest talent to accomplish its goals. However, no new information was provided about the ongoing investigation into deceased sex offender Jeffrey Epstein.
Elsewhere, a new crime was reported, with the discovery of the bodies of four family members, including two children, in a home. In a separate incident, a man was convicted of fatally shooting a New Jersey pastor and sentenced to life in prison. These incidents are not directly related to the FBI or Bailey's appointment.
It is worth noting that a second airman from Wyoming has been accused of manslaughter, marking the second such case in a month. However, no new information about this case was provided.
In addition, Dan Bongino, the current deputy director of the FBI, faced growing fallout over the Justice Department's decision not to disclose more records from its investigations into deceased sex offender Jeffrey Epstein. No new information about Bongino's fallout was provided in the latest report.
Despite these ongoing matters, the FBI remains committed to its mission to protect and serve the American people. With the addition of Andrew Bailey as co-deputy director, the agency is poised to continue making a difference in the fight against crime and the upholding of justice.
