Enlarged Leadership Team: Hylane's Management Roster Now Extended

Maximilian Draxler, a long-standing member of the Hylane team since its inception in 2021, has stepped into a new role as CEO of Hylane Netherlands B.V.

Based in Cologne, Draxler has been instrumental in shaping Hylane's growth and success. As the first emission-free commercial vehicle rental company in Germany, Hylane has established itself as an innovative provider in the continuously growing market for emission-free commercial vehicles.

In his new position, Draxler will continue to oversee the finance department and take on additional responsibilities in the areas of law and internationalization. He has already been steering Hylane's market entry in the Netherlands since 2024.

Draxler's expertise in infrastructure investments and private equity, gained from various asset managers, has been instrumental in the efficient controlling and financial processes at Hylane. He has also played a significant role in shaping the usage-based rental model and the internationalization of Hylane's business model.

In his previous role as Head of Finance, Draxler has been responsible for the purchase of emission-free vehicles for Hylane's growing fleet. Today, leading fleet operators from logistics, retail, and industry rely on Hylane as a strategic partner for the decarbonization of their fleets.

Hylane offers a comprehensive, usage-based rental model for battery and hydrogen-powered vehicles from various manufacturers. The company handles vehicle acquisition, maintenance and repair, insurance, access to energy supply, and management of regulatory requirements, including CO2 reporting.

Sara Schiffer, founder and managing director of Hylane, praised Draxler's contributions, stating, "Maximilian's leadership and dedication have been key to our success. I am confident that he will continue to drive Hylane's growth and innovation in his new role."

The demand for emission-free commercial vehicles is steadily increasing, not only in Germany but also in neighboring European markets. Draxler made a statement to AUTOHAUS regarding his new role in the management team, expressing his excitement about the opportunities ahead and his commitment to Hylane's mission.

In addition to his role at Hylane, Draxler has represented the company on the advisory board of Green Hydrogen Technology since 2024. Green Hydrogen Technology is a young company that has developed a patented solution for producing hydrogen from non-recyclable waste.

As Hylane continues to expand its operations and influence in the emission-free commercial vehicle market, Maximilian Draxler's leadership and expertise will undoubtedly play a crucial role in its success.
