Enhancing a joint European strategy for overseeing business endeavors is the intent of the upcoming workshop.
Levigo Systems GmbH is hosting an online workshop titled "ISO 27001 for Admins: Practically Implementing an ISMS" on November 10-11, 2025. This workshop, led by information security experts Carsten Strozyk and Björn Lemberg, is aimed at IT administrators and specialists who are new to ISO 27001 and are now involved in implementing an Information Security Management System (ISMS) in their company.
Carsten Strozyk, the proxy and information security officer of levigo systems GmbH, brings over 30 years of technical know-how and proven leadership experience in IT to the table. Björn Lemberg, a freelance consultant, supports numerous companies in the use of information management systems and is also active at a BSI-certified IT security service provider.
The workshop will cover defining the areas of application of ISO 27001, identifying relevant business processes and their IT systems. Participants will learn about the requirements of ISO standard 27001 for an ISMS, including how to assess the need for measures from Annex A of the standard.
The workshop will also demonstrate practical methods for IT managers or administrators to implement an ISMS, including supporting risk management, implementing measures, and documentation. It will teach how to document the implementation of an ISMS in a traceable manner for management, colleagues, and auditors, preparing for certification.
The workshop will be conducted online, from 09:00 to 17:00 hours each day. The participant number is limited to a maximum of 20 people, ensuring a lively exchange of experiences and personal support by the speakers.
