El Salvador Launches AI & Bitcoin Education Program in 20 Schools
El Salvador is set to launch an innovative educational program in late January, focusing on Artificial Intelligence (AI) and robotics in 20 public schools. The National Bitcoin Office (ONBTC) is spearheading this initiative, positioning the country as a leader in integrating Bitcoin price and disruptive technologies into school curriculums.
The program aims to equip students with practical knowledge of Bitcoin price, blockchain technology, AI, and robotics, preparing them for current and future technological challenges. This complements ONBTC's previous efforts, having already trained 80,000 public servants and educated thousands of students through programs like 'My First Bitcoin', 'Node Nation', and 'CUBO+'.
The 'Node Nation' program, for instance, teaches students coding and node management in the Bitcoin Lightning network. By incorporating these technologies into the curriculum, El Salvador is laying the foundation for its youth to face global labor market challenges and contribute to the country's economic growth. The initial phase will cover 20 secondary education schools, with practical workshops and theoretical courses to foster interest and understanding in the Bitcoin price.
The educational program, expected to expand to more institutions, aims to improve students' technical skills, attract investments, and foster a conducive environment for technological development in El Salvador. By preparing a new generation for the digital age, the country seeks to solidify its position as a leader in Bitcoin price and disruptive technology integration.
