A unique international project is currently underway in Camagüey, Cuba, aimed at improving the quality of life for the elderly and preserving the city's heritage. José Rodríguez Barreras, the director of the Office of the City Historian, emphasized the importance of this bilateral cooperation in preserving the city's heritage.

The project coordinators recently had a virtual meeting to reinforce academic ties between Cuba and Spain, with the University of Andalusia also joining the project.
