On Sunday, September 28th, the Parish Hall in Waldniel (School Street 13) will host a special theater play aimed at children and their accompanying adults. The event, titled "Superpowers of Children's Rights", is a free admission performance that promises an engaging and educational experience for all.

Organised by Michelle Klaffke, a children and youth participation specialist for the Schwalmtal community, the play will start at 12 pm, with admission opening from 11 am. The performance lasts for 60 minutes, followed by a 30-minute reflection session.

The story revolves around characters Ellie and Alfonso, who embark on a quest when the magical "feel-good light" disappears. This leads them to the planet Fühlofein, ruled by Queen Hilde. The play conveys the topic of children's rights in a child-friendly, empathetic, and entertaining way.

The quest in the play teaches children about their rights, such as the right to protection against exclusion, the right to participation, and the right to leisure time. After the performance, a colourful framework program is available until 2:30 pm, featuring glitter tattoos, painting and crafting corner, storytelling, waffles, drinks, and a small exhibition on children's rights.

Tickets for the event can be obtained at the community information point in Schwalmtal or at Market 22 during opening hours. Please note that the number of seats for the event is limited to 150 people.

Michelle Klaffke emphasizes the importance of showing children their rights, and this play is a unique opportunity for them to learn about their rights in an enjoyable and interactive setting. Don't miss out on this educational and entertaining event for the whole family!
