"Celebration of 'Cholo Gori Belabo' on its 5th anniversary"
In the bustling town of Belabo, Narsingdi, the Belabo Upazila Auditorium was filled with an air of excitement as the social organisation Cholo Gori Belabo marked its fifth founding anniversary. The event, which was supported by Md Zakir Hossain Talukder, Chairman of Livas King Co. Ltd., Dhaka, the event's official sponsor, drew a large audience, including school principals, educators, social workers, political representatives, community leaders, and well-wishers of Cholo Gori Belabo.
The celebration was presided over by Md Abdul Karim, Upazila Nirbahi Officer of Belabo, who served as the chief guest. Former Belabo Upazila Parishad Chairman Ahsan Habib Biplob was present as a special guest, along with Nasir Uddin Bhuiyan, former secretary of Belabo Upazila BNP.
The heart of the celebration was the recognition of 48 individuals who were honoured with awards and scholarships for their achievements in online competitions and under the CGB Merit Exploration Scholarship Programme. Three individuals, A K M Shahjahan, Faruk Mia, and Sulaiman Khandaker, received honorary awards in recognition of their significant contributions to Cholo Gori Belabo and the community.
In his address, Md Abdul Karim encouraged students to pursue education and civic responsibility with sincerity and dedication.
