Career advisement workshop organized by Indus Group for students of NIS Mangaf
Indus Group, a global organisation committed to promoting education tourism, recently organised a career counselling session for students of the New Indian School (NIS Mangaf). The event, held at the school's premises, aimed to guide students towards informed academic and career decisions.
The session was well-attended, with students actively participating in one-on-one discussions with counsellors, asking questions, and seeking personalised advice. A team of seasoned career counsellors from Indus Group engaged directly with students, focusing on helping them identify their interests and align them with appropriate academic programs and career opportunities.
Senior faculty members from renowned universities such as Christ University, RV University, Reva University, Woxsen University, Yenepoya University, Karpagam University, and DC Group of Institutions were also present, providing additional academic and career guidance to the students. Representatives from the University of Birmingham, University of Leicester, and University of Manchester attended the event, further broadening the students' horizons.
Mr. Thiagrajan from Indus Group remarked that the organisation is committed to helping students make well-informed decisions about their academic and professional futures. He reaffirmed Indus Group's commitment to bridging the gap between aspiring students and world-class educational institutions.
Principal Anita Sadanand praised Indus Group's efforts, stating that the organisation is empowering students with practical knowledge and real-world perspectives. She highlighted the significance of the session, emphasising the importance of hands-on experience, networking, and strategic planning in building a successful career.
Indus Group's mission extends beyond this single event. Since its inception in 1995, the organisation has organised over 120 exhibitions across India and more than 150 international events across 20 countries. Notably, Indus Group has conducted 111 India Education Exhibitions in cities around the world.
Moreover, Indus Group is focused on raising awareness about emerging career fields and plans to attract more than 15,000 international students to Indian institutions. The organisation aims to expand its presence to over 50 countries, continuing to empower students to make thoughtful, strategic academic choices.
The career counselling session concluded with students having greater clarity and confidence about their future educational and career paths. Indus Group's ongoing initiatives to support and strengthen the Indian education ecosystem are undoubtedly making a positive impact on the lives of many students.
