Business education institution Pearl Academy's School of Business joins forces with INSEAD XR to deliver authentic immersive learning experiences.

In a groundbreaking move, Pearl Academy School of Business (PSB) has partnered with INSEAD XR Lab to integrate Extended Reality (XR) technology into its MBA curriculum, making it one of the first institutions in India to adopt such immersive learning technology in business and management education.

This innovative initiative uses XR simulations to deliver real-world business case studies with multi-sensory immersive experiences, allowing students to engage deeply in strategic decision-making and collaboration scenarios in lifelike virtual environments.

Two key simulations—The Avocado Case and Mission to Mars—transport students, via VR headsets, into dynamic settings like Zanzibar’s shores and Mars mission control centers. These scenarios challenge students to make real-time decisions in high-pressure, interactive situations, fostering development in critical thinking, emotional intelligence, and agility within a controlled yet realistic context.

Amod Vijayvargiya, Director of Pearl Academy School of Business, stated that the collaboration with INSEAD XR brings a bold, immersive layer to business learning. This move is part of PSB's commitment to future-forward education, global collaboration, and innovation-driven pedagogy.

The immersive XR simulation-based learning initiative is expected to enhance experiential learning, improve decision-making skills, and prepare students for complex business environments by simulating real-world challenges more effectively than traditional classroom methods.

Pearl Academy School of Business offers a diverse range of degree programs and short-term certificate courses across various disciplines. With over 15,000+ successful alumni and a consistently high placement rate of 99%, the institution continues to be a driving force in the creative industries, both in India and globally.

Affiliated with the Rajiv Gandhi National Institute of Youth Development (RGNIYD), a Government of India Institution of National Importance, Pearl Academy has tie-ups with industry bodies such as FDCI, Tech Mahindra, Reliance Brands Ltd., MAC, and international universities.

With campuses in Delhi-South, Delhi-West, Mumbai, Bengaluru, and Jaipur, Pearl Academy provides a conducive learning environment for students seeking to excel in the business world. Effective 2024 intake, all students will receive accredited degrees recognized by the Government of India.
