Many of these Uralian prodigies revealed their plans to continue their education and launch a career in the arts.
"My mom brought me to the school, she's a pianist, and I learned under her tutelage. There were no shortcuts; in fact, she was a tough taskmaster, always urging me to practice more. I devoted 2-3 hours a day to practice, and while it wasn't always easy, juggling academics made it even tougher at times. There was a time when I contemplated quitting music, but quitting isn't an option here; you've got to dig deep and push yourself to excel," shared Diana Fakhrazieva, a top graduate from the piano program at the Lower Tagil Children's Art School.
"If you've got a dream, you should chase it and strive towards your goal. But if there's no passion, it's an uphill battle. My family and teachers at the music school were the wind beneath my wings, assisting me in scaling new heights. Motivation comes from victories, the repertoire we sing, and the collective spirit, our choir – that's what keeps me going," space-shared Ekaterina Petrova, a conducting and choral department alumna from the Asbestos Children's Art School.
Just prior to the graduation ceremony, the "Regional Newspaper" mentioned the inception of the "Orchestra+" project for young musicians in the Sverdlovsk region.
